Small South wales town Blaenavon formed part of the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. This ironworks dates back to 1789. There is also many attractions within the site including the National coal museum and also the iron works. Also included is a trip down into the pits and also the Blaenavon and Pontypool Railway.
At the Coal Centre you can browse the traditional displays and videos that illustrate the history of the area. There is a selection of touch screens to explore a range of topics, including standards of living, geology, transport systems and World Heritage.
