Dinfwr is a popular National Trust destination located in Llandeilo. It is a fantastic place to visit, steeped in history, myths and legends there is a tale to engage all.

Home to a beautiful estate of over 300 hectares of landscaped gardens and home to the Dinefwr Castle which is perched on top of the hill overlooking the grounds. You will also find Newton House; a 17th century manor house, woodlands, a deer park, herds of White Park cattle, Dinefwr Lake, the Iron Fort, the hidden remains of a Roman Fort and of course the all important outside cafe!

There are also lots of marked walking routes which you can follow to explore your choice of manicured gardens, woodlands where you may be lucky to spot a deer, the meadows where you will see the the largest of only four remaining herds of White Park cattle grazing, or enjoy a walk to the lake.

If you’re planning a visit, due to Covid-19 you must book a timed entry slot otherwise you may be turned away. It is always worth visiting their website to check for any last minute changes to ensure your visit is enjoyable.
